Here is a snapshot of each player likely to run out on the ground to face Echuca.
2. Hayden Gemmill: Has had another injury interrupted season but has slotted back into this talented side at the ideal time. Has the X factor and is one of several potent players in Kyabram’s attacking zone who can turn a game on its head in a few minutes as he did in second semi-final.
3. Josh Vick: A club premiership skipper and stalwart who made a comeback this season. Has had some injury problems but still knows the art of negating rivals in his key defensive role.
5. Jack Sheldon. Brother of star player Tom who joined the Bombers this season and has played several games at senior level. Never stops trying.
6. Tom Holman: Strong, versatile player who can play back or forward with equal effectiveness. Very good in lockdown roles and will return to the side for this game after missing the second semi-final.
7. Jordan Williams: Classy utility who unfortunately has sustained a season ending leg injury. Reigning best and fairest winner and an elite user of the ball.
8. Brad Edwards: Tough utility, club stalwart and co captain who is taking the coaching reins of the club next season. Always gives his best.
9. Nic Coulstock: One of the many dedicated and loyal local products in this side who gives his all every game in an on-ball role.
10. Kayne Pettifer: Ex-100 games plus Richmond player who might be 37 years of age but still retains a remarkable zest for playing. Always demands a key opponent.
11. Zac Norris: Continues to develop into one of the best ruckman in the league and has enjoyed a breakout season. Very athletic and mobile for a big man.
12. Aaron Hayes: Another versatile player in this Kyabram side whose form dropped off towards the end of the home-and-away season. But he is a proven big match performer in line be promoted for Sunday’s clash.
13. Reid Crowe: Joined the Bombers this season but has been dogged by injuries so Ky supporters haven’t seen the best of him. A clever, goalkicking onballer.
14. Josh Dillon: The revelation in the Kyabram ranks this season, performing consistently as a determined and fearless, small man onballer.
15. Sam Sheldon: Ex-Brisbane Lions player and co-coach who is a very constructive player who can also adapt readily to a variety of positions.
16. Lachie Smith: The league’s premier defender who can also go forward and cause damage. Ability to intercept with strong marking is his trademark.
17. Brad Whitford: One of the young guns in the side who has made rapid progress this season. Not fast but seems to have time on his hands and makes good decisions with his ball use.
18. Jason Morgan: Co-captain who like Jordan Williams has been cruelly denied a finals appearance due to injury. In twilight of career but has been one of the premier defenders in the modern era in the GVL.
19. Riley Ironside: Smooth mover who has returned from the Bendigo Pioneers for the finals series and showed glimpses of his best form in the second semi final win over Shepparton.
20. Kyle Mueller: Pipped teammate Kaye Pettifer to be the league’s premier goalkicker this season. Although not tall he is quick, skilful and strong overhead. Has the ability to turn the momentum of a game in a few minutes.
21. Cooper Vick. Has had some senior experience this season and is an exciting prospect who plays with flair. Emerges from the Under 18 ranks next season.
22. Luke Morris: Tall gifted player who like many teammates can adapt to many roles. Hinted he is close to his brilliant best on his return to the side in its second semi-final win.
23. Mick Mattingly: Classy, hard running onballer who makes his own luck with his relentless work ethic. Also uses the ball well. The complete package who has been Kyabram’s most consistent performer all season.
24. Axel Child: Hard nut utility who is ideal finals player with his aggression and fearless attacks on the ball. Very good in shut-down roles but can win is own ball.
25. Jake Reeves: Bulky big man who returned to the club this season and although hasn’t been a regular player commands respect from rivals with his size and strength. Loves the big stage and will be a key player on Sunday.
26. Josh Pell: Veteran who has had some injury interruptions this season but is an experienced and accomplished player who can also adapt to several roles.
28. Tom Sheldon: Key cog in Kyabram’s defence who is enjoying a big season. Penetrating left foot kick and very good in the one-on-one situations.
21. Cade Mueller: One of several talented youngsters in the Kyabram squad who has had a lot senior competition exposure this season. Very determined.
33. Aidan Robinson: Thirds player with a big future. Wasn’t out of place in some senior appearance this season and has the size, ability and mobility to become a marquee player for the club in the future.
44. Billy McLay: Another of the club’syoung brigade who has had experience at the top level this season. Shows great promise and looks a player with a bright future.
45. Brad Mangan: One of the key utility players in this side who has the raw strength, ability and experience to turn a game in a twinkling. Has the distinction of being the youngest player ever to play senior football with the club.
55. Patrick Wearden: Has enjoyed a stellar season and has been rarely out of Kyabram’s best players. Tall and mobile with good skills he is a left footer and major playmaker in this team.
