An on-farm day at Goon Nure, in East Gippsland, Victoria, brought together local dairy farmers, Melbourne University academics and service providers to discuss multispecies planting and grazing.

Held on June 26, it was facilitated by GippsDairy and featured a research team from University of Melbourne’s School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences.
The host was dairy farmer Rohan Bingley.
The multispecies project is funded by Dairy Australia and the Federal Government’s Future Drought Fund Drought Resilience Soils and Landscapes program.
