Fleeces in a class of their own

Andrew Toms and Rob Glover source fleeces and then present them for classing and judging.

This all happens at the Lions Club clubrooms which is known as the Wool Pavilion at the showgrounds.

The proceeds from the sale of the wool this year will be shared with local CFA units.

Every year Elders supports this event by donating funds which enables the purchase of gift vouchers for the winners.

They also supply bunting and signage which helps decorate the display. Thank you again Elders.

The catering team once again took on an Oktoberfest theme and played “oom pah pah” music, which helped drown out the noise from one of the rides.

Members got in the theme of things wearing German-style aprons and hats and selling German sausages with sauerkraut and mustard.
