A bushfire at Yambuna burned through 40ha of land on both sides of the Goulburn River on Sunday, January 2.

A CFA spokesperson said firefighters responded to the blaze near the intersection of Granville and Curr roads.
The spokesperson said the fire was burning at multiple points when brigades arrived.
A total of 40 fire trucks were called to the scene before it was deemed under control just before 6pm, the spokesperson said.
CFA fire investigators were at the scene near the Yambuna Track Camping Area on Monday to determine the cause of the fire.
