Held at the Finley showgrounds, the event will start at 6pm and will see drivers from as far as South Australia, Queensland and Victoria competing.
Tickets will be available at the gate, which open at 4.30pm.
Adult tickets are $30 and children aged 14 to 17 are $15.
Children under-13 get in free if accompanied by an adult ticket holder, or must buy a $5 ticket if unaccompanied.
This is the 21st Finley Modified Tractor Pull event, which is a favourite on the Down Under Tractor Pulling Association calendar.
The Finley Community Tractor Pull Committee has put in a lot of effort to prepare for the night, and committee member Paul Dundon said they are ready to dive right into the event.
Sudden Impact has always been a popular competitor at Finley.
He also said spectators can expect even more action this year.
“There will be bigger class tractors, and we have a fully catered bar to buy from,” he said.
“Everything has been organised well, and we’ve done working bees leading up to this weekend.
“We only have a smaller committee, but we got lots of support.
“The Harry Ferguson Tractor Club has helped out, Finley Little Athletics will have a barbecue there, and Finley High School help with the clean up.“
Mr Dundon said the tractor pull is always popular, which makes it a great event for the community and the local economy.
Last year the event drew a crowd of about 1200 people, and the committee hope to see similar or greater numbers this year.
“It’s an excellent community event, giving people something to do for the weekend, and I hope that anyone who can tries to get along,” Mr Dundon said.
“Bring a chair, a rug and come sit on the hill to enjoy all the action.“
