New look for Kyabram's Farmer Harry — he's grown a beard and put on a fancy shirt.

The most Aussie reality show to ever wear a pair of Blundstones into a woolshed is back.

Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW for the uninitiated) has finally announced the 2022 season’s premiere date.
There are a lot of eyeballs on this season due to the fact it’s the first to include a ‘woman farmer’ looking for a husband.
But more importantly, it’s also the first season to include a farmer from Kyabram.
The show will go to air on Sunday, September 4 (Father’s Day).
The Father’s Day scheduling has to be a subtle tip of the Akubra to the many marriages (nine?) and children (25?) the FWAW format claims responsibility for.
We can only imagine how many broken hearts, embarrassing moments and regrets the format can also lay claim to.
All is fair in love and agriculture.
In the premiere episode the farmers will start out with nine dates before being tasked with whittling that number down to five, culling off four chicks immediately.
I fondly refer to episode one as the ‘death match’ round.
You and your father can catch the show on Channel Seven or 7Plus.
We’ll also be printing regular reviews of the show here in Country News.
In other news, I’ve obtained exclusive pictures of the nine hopefuls who’ll meet Kyabram’s Farmer Harry in episode one.
Feel free to print them out and put the lovely ladies on the fridge so you can start a household sweepstake.
(From left) GABBY: You know she means business when she wears a watch. Gorgeous dress. This is someone who gets their car serviced on time. ELISE: Very fun vibes coming off this one. She'd probably love to have her own vegie garden for a single season before the weeds take over. ALEX: She looks young and sweet, but the edge of a tattoo toughens the image. What is she capable of? The tanned arms hint at something more.

(From left) GABRIELLE: You know they are wild when not even an appearance on national TV can stop them catching a few hours of sunshine in a bikini with minimal sunscreen. We appreciate the real vibes. ISABELLA: She looks fit. Someone get this woman shearing sheep stat. GEORGIA: This is a very delicate look. From the barely-there necklace to the thin vintage-chic dress. Can’t wait to hear what she thinks about farm work.

(From left) TESS: Can somebody say ‘standout’? I can’t remember the last time a woman rocked up in pants to episode one — and she does it so well! ROMMI: She looks like a Texan beauty queen. It’s always lovely when the girls try to dress ‘country’ and I appreciate the effort. NATALIE: This shade of green is very smart. She’s playing into both the Nationals and the Greens voters. The tight bun only adds to the Canberra-esque look.
