Hosted in conjunction with the Finley Community Church and Christians in Ag, it will be held March 22 and 23 at the Deniliquin Pony Club grounds.
The two-day event will be centred on the theme, ‘Focus on Family’.
Local co-ordinator Luke Harrington said there will be plenty of games and fun, with a movie night and discussions about navigating your family through turbulent times.
The Ryans will share their own experiences of family and careers with the participants.
Mr Ryan is the CEO of Focus on Family Australia.
Before that, he was a critical care nurse for 15 years, where he specialised in accident and emergency and intensive care.
He then served 12 years as a children's pastor with CityLife Church, which lead to his current role.
Mrs Ryan was a teacher for 25 years before leaving to support her husband in his ministry.
They are both passionate about promoting strong, God-honouring marriages and families, sharing their own experiences after 35 years of marriage and raising a family.
“Safe, secure and well-supported families are the building blocks of our community,” Mr Ryan said.
“We know that parents who are well-supported and have access to the resources they need are the best places for young children and infants to thrive.”
Pray on the Plains starts from noon on Saturday, March 22 and concludes after the lunch the following day.
Camping is available at the Pony Club grounds, or guests are encouraged to book accommodation in town if they do not wish to camp.
All meals are provided.
