Run by the Euroa Ag Society with a small committee of volunteers, the weekend-long event plans to provide entertainment for the whole family.
“We are feeling extremely excited to bring this event to the local community,” chief cattle steward and head organiser Teagan Kubeil said.
“It’s a big effort to bring an event this scale to life with a small committee of volunteers, however we are pleased how it is shaping up.
“We have had great support in sponsorship from local businesses and farmers.”
Miss Kubeil said you could expect to find trade stalls, cattle judging and displays, and new and vintage tractor displays.
There will also be raffles, live music, face painting, kids activities, gourmet catering and will also feature guest speakers from Reid Stockfeeds and more.
Saturday will start at 3pm, with the Calf Classic, Junior Handlers and Junior Judges planned.
Sunday, the main day, will kick off at 9am, with plenty of cattle on display both days, including British, Bos indicus, led steers and commercial females.
Both days of the show will be free for the public to come on down.
“This is a great event for the local community, bringing exhibitors and spectators from interstate and local communities,” Miss Kubeil said.
“It is a chance for local farmers to mingle, learn something new, and a place for families and the community to get out and about and support a great event.
“Small country town community events are becoming few and far between, and without support, they are simply not possible, so we are very grateful.”
The Euroa Autumn Beef Cattle Show will take place on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 at the Euroa Showgrounds.
