Founded by Bryce O'Brien, a seasoned aviator with a passion deeply rooted in both agriculture and aviation, the company stands as a testament to dedication, expertise, and community spirit.
Bryce’s journey to founding Dash Aerial Applications is one woven with experiences that span the vast skies of Australia.
Before establishing his roots in Jerilderie, Bryce spent four years navigating the skies of the Riverina, honing his skills and understanding the intricacies of the region's agricultural needs.
His adventures in aviation began back when he was a boilermaker travelling around Queensland.
He gave in to his flying bug and started flight training in 2015, and since then has completed two diplomas in aviation and a multi-engine instrument rating.
Bryce flew all over Queensland and eventually moved to the Northern Territory, where he engaged in diverse roles from government charter flights, fishing charters and transporting low-acuity patients battling extreme weather throughout the wet seasons which provided him with a breadth of aviation experience.
Hailing from a small country town in Queensland, Bryce's upbringing on a cattle and sheep station instilled in him a deep-seated connection to the land and a profound understanding of the challenges faced by farmers. His dream to merge this agricultural insight with his passion for aviation has found perfect synergy in Dash Aerial.
Strategically headquartered in Jerilderie, Dash Aerial Applications is more than a business venture for Bryce and his family - it is a commitment to fostering community and driving agricultural excellence.
Alongside his wife and daughter, Bryce has planted roots in Jerilderie, embracing the town's vibrant spirit and forging meaningful connections within the local fabric.
Dash recently completed a AAAA (Aerial Application Association Australia) inspection at its base 37 Rifle Range Rd, and achieved Spray Safe accreditation.
Bryce said the company looks forward to growing the business and he would like to thank all the farmers who have reached out thus far and the local community that has been so supportive.
