Radio EMFM 104.7 is hosting its second ‘My Greatest Walk’ for Myeloma Australia on Sunday, March 30.
From 10.30am, participants will walk the track at Echuca East Recreation Reserve to spread awareness and fundraise for myeloma.
Myeloma is a type of bone marrow cancer that develops from abnormal plasma cells.
While there is no cure, Myeloma Australia advocates for research into the disease and supports people living with myeloma.
The walk is $20, in the form of a donation to the organisation along with walk insurance and GST.
The EMFM crew jumped on board with the walk for a second year, a show of support for some of their members who are living with myeloma.
Tomorrow morning, a myeloma nurse will also join EMFM live on air after the 8am news to talk about the disease and Sunday’s event.
A free barbecue will be put on for walkers by the Echuca Moama Rotary Club, and the EMFM studios will be open to visit.

Donations to Myeloma Australia can also be made at myeloma.org.au/donate
Alternatively, registrations can be made on the morning of the event.
