Group members and sponsors celebrated the 22 recipients who are seeking post school education, and who received vital financial support.
Congratulations to: Madeline Perkins, Regan Cullen, Lisa Strachan, Ellenor Pretty, Laura Mannes, Nicholas Fattore, Zoe Rowan, Rhys Ballentine, Eloise Jay, Daniel Collier, Kayne Ballentine, Chloe Evans, Abbey Neville, Harrison McKinnon, Noah Jay, Nathan Hodgson, Gabrielle Mabulac, Lachlan Vearing, Hugh White, Emily Hibbert, Andrew White and Lily McKersie.
“We wish you all the best for your studies throughout the year,” the Coleambally-Darlington Point Country Education Foundation said.
Group members also thanked the 17 business and individual sponsors who supported the grants, and those who supported fundraisers like the trivia night and raffles.
“Without your support the Coleambally Darlington Point Country Education Foundation would not be able to provide ongoing assistance to help students achieve their goals,” the group said.
The aim of the group, and the wider Country Edcuation Fund movement, is to foster the further education, career and personal development opportunities for local youth through community-based encouragement and financial assistance.
