Depression, anxiety, loneliness, grief, bereavement and isolation confront many people throughout the community.
The campaign is focused on building a brighter, healthier, happier, more accepting and inclusive future for the twin towns and surrounding region.
The fundraising campaign will seek to bridge the gaps in mental health care by providing services which better equip people to face their challenges with strength, hope and support.
ERH works closely with partner organisations such as Murray Primary Health Network, Mind Australia, Bendigo Health and Bendigo Community Health Service, Murrumbidgee Local Health District, Intereach, Salvation Army and Njernda Aboriginal Corporation to get the best possible outcomes for the region.
To provide a local focus, ERH has two mental health ambassadors who are sharing their stories to help better explain some of the challenges of mental health and wellbeing.
The fundraising campaign will raise funds and promote opportunities for advocacy for mental health service provision and you can support the campaign by going to erh.org.au/make-a-donation/ or contact ERH’s public relations officer Sarah Crossman on 5485 5087 or scrossman@erh.org.au
