Two Rutherglen residents have been remanded in custody and will return to Albury Local Court on March 4 to face drug and firearm charges.
A 44-year-old male has been charged with gun manufacturing, firearms supply, other gun offences, drug dealing, police pursuit and burglary offences.
It is alleged stolen guns had serial numbers removed and police are trying to locate the owners.
A 36-year-old female is facing some 100 drug-dealing charges, including commercial supply.
As part of an investigation into major ice dealing and firearm offences, police seized six sophisticated homemade pistols and seven stolen guns following searches on a King Street Rutherglen property and a second site in Albury.
The arrests were made at the Rutherglen property. Further arrests are expected. “It’s a widespread investigation,” Albury Detective Chief Inspector Jy Brown said.
