Organised by Community River Arts in partnership with Barooga Primary School, the fair will offer something for the whole family.
Local artists will offer their wares across the day, while guests will be treated to myriad food and drink options.
The P&C of Barooga Public School will hold a barbecue, while Cheeky Beaver Coffee Van will provide a range of warm drinks on the day.
BPS students will be selling slices and cakes crafted in the school’s own kitchen.
BPS principal Matt Collins said the fair would be an opportunity for students to get involved with service to the community.
“It’s the first fair, and we wanted to be involved [in it],” he said.
Local woodworker extraordinaire Rob Hamilton will also provide homemade games like hookey, noughts and crosses, and bean bags for guests’ entertainment.
Two raffles will run on the day, with patrons able to purchase tickets to go in the running to win a $6000 open travel voucher.
All proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets will go towards the purchase of a new adventure playground at Barooga Primary School.
The fair will be held at the Barooga Community Hall on Sunday, November 3, from 9am to 1pm.
Entry to the fair is free of charge.
