But none of it would be possible without the passion and dedication of our region's gifted artists, who pour their hearts into every creation.
That is why Campaspe Shire Council is injecting $60,000 into the local arts scene, empowering creatives to showcase their talents through exciting projects and activities.
The SPARK — Arts & Cultural Grant Program, is calling on individual artists, cultural groups and community organisations to apply for a share of $60,000 to boost arts and culture in Campaspe Shire.
Mayor Daniel Mackrell said he believed by enhancing the cultural fabric of the region, in turn, it would be strengthening Campaspe Shire’s identity.
“I encourage all eligible artists and organisations who are interested in applying for this fantastic opportunity to contact our Arts and Culture Team to discuss their ideas,” he said.
“The SPARK program is designed to support a wide range of creative endeavours, and we look forward to seeing the innovative projects that will emerge from this initiative.”
Applications for the program opened on Friday, January 17 and close on Friday, February 21.
Projects can begin from Monday, April 14 and must be completed by Friday, December 12 to be eligible for a grant.
