People in the Euroa electorate could now take part in the scheme, with six locations soon open to accept drink containers.
“This is something that many people within my community have been looking forward to for quite some time,” State Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland said.
“While the rollout has left a lot to be desired, it is pleasing to see locations now open across the electorate for those who wish to participate.
“Being part of CDS Vic can generate additional income for many small businesses and delivers benefits to communities, the environment and the economy.”
There are six locations across the electorate — Benalla, Broadford, Euroa, Avenel, Seymour and Murchison East.
Most aluminium, glass, plastic and liquid paperboard (carton) drink containers between 150ml and three litres are eligible, or you can check for the 10c mark on the drink container label.
