Police are investigating the disappearance of competition quality chickens from a Blighty property.

Penned on the property on Coree Rd, they have gone missing between 10am on January 15 and 8am the following day.
Police said there were no signs of animal attack, and no signs of damage to the enclosure to suggest they escaped.

A 26 year-old man has been fined for riding a bike without a helmet or a light.
He was stopped by police riding in Poictiers St, Deniliquin about 12.55am Monday, January 20.

A 73 year-old man has been fined for failing to give away after allegedly proceeding through a Harfleur intersection without stopping.
Police will allege he failed to give way about 1.45pm last Monday, January 13.
The incident did not result in a crash, police have confirmed.
