I believe in the power of our community to create a prosperous, resilient, and connected future for our region.
As a long-term resident, father, volunteer, health service and rice mill employee, I’ve dedicated many years to this community.
My core values of openness, respect and collaboration drive my way of working and my vision for Deniliquin and the rural villages.
I’m committed to addressing the key issues that matter most to this community: boosting our financial resilience, and fostering a stronger sense of community.
1. I will focus on building financial resilience for Edward River council and our region. We need to support local businesses and enhance economic opportunities. I would also advocate for a review of rates, water charges and the cost of Development Applications.
2. Waste management: I would review the hours the tip is open and investigate the possibility of twice yearly hard rubbish collection.
3. Enhancing social connectedness and wellbeing: We need to bring people together and strengthen our community bonds. People need to feel a part of the community and nobody should be left behind or be left out.
I ask for your support to build a thriving Edward River region together.
Let’s create a future where our community flourishes, our economy is strong, and every individual feels connected, valued, and empowered.
