A partial extreme heat timetable will apply to services on the Bendigo and Echuca lines on Saturday, February 1, and a full extreme heat timetable will apply on Sunday, February 2, Monday, February 3, and Tuesday, February 4.
Services on other lines will also be affected.
When an extreme heat timetable is in place, journey times will be extended as we reduce the speed of trains or services may be replaced by coaches for all or part of the journey.
Due to metro works, coaches replace evening Bendigo line trains for the entire journey on Thursday, February 6.
From 8pm to the last service – coaches replace trains from Southern Cross Station to Bendigo/Epsom/Eaglehawk for the entire journey.
From 7.30pm to the last service from Bendigo/Epsom, coaches replace trains to Southern Cross for the entire journey.
Due to annual maintenance works, coaches will replace trains on the Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines for the entire journey to Southern Cross from Saturday, February 22, until Wednesday, March 5.
Some works may be cancelled or postponed closer to start times due to changing weather conditions.
A temporary coach replacement timetable will be available to commuters and travellers should allow an additional 60 minutes of travel time for their journey.
