Up for grabs is a share in grant funding of up to $25,000 for the 2023 Community Benefit Fund.
Cherry Tree is looking to support a number of projects. Preference will be given to applications of less than $5000, but applications up to $10,000 will be considered.
The fund provides support for projects that bring people together and build community capacity.
The fund is open to a range of community purposes and needs, including health and social welfare, safety, environmental, educational, youth projects, sport and recreation, culture, the arts and economic development.
Applications will be assessed based on their ability to address the selection criteria as well as benefit to the local community.
General selection criteria may include project benefits, community need, availability of funding and project/program viability.
Applications will only be accepted from Seymour, Yea, Tallarook, Trawool, Whiteheads Creek, Highlands, Ghin Ghin and Strath Creek.
