A car was stolen from a Kyabram home on Thursday, January 16.
Kyabram police Sergeant Adrian Staudt said two men were seen stealing a white Mazda from a south Kyabram residence.
Sgt Staudt said the car was parked in a garage when the men gained entry to the car and drove off at about 6.15am.
He said the Mazda was then seen by witnesses “in convoy with a white Hyundai”.
The car was recovered on the same day; however, no arrests have been made.
Sgt Staudt advised residents to lock their vehicles at night to avoid “opportunistic thieves” making the most of the situation.
Sgt Staudt said anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage around the time of the theft should call Kyabram Police Station on 5853 1777 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppersvic.com.au
