The show is a one-hour trip down memory lane featuring Australian humour, working horses, livestock, old farming equipment and working dogs.
It is filled with whip-cracking action, Australian flags, some great Australian music and a good dose of local history.
It finishes with a cup of billy tea and freshly made damper.
Business owners Kerri and Richard Acquisto said the show was designed and choreographed to showcase the local history of the area, including the famous Long Paddock.
“We were looking to fill a gap in the tourist market and push people up the droving trail and out into other country towns like Deniliquin and Hay,” Mrs Acquisto said.
The idea of establishing a live show has been simmering in the minds of the couple for quite awhile.
“Richard had the idea to create a live show about the same time as the Outback Spectacular started so we decided to put it on hold for awhile, but it is something that has always been sitting in the back of our minds,” Mrs Acquisto said.
She said whip-cracking, fire turning and other elements of the show were things they already offered visitors to the park, they had now combined them in one show.
The show is currently running every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Tickets are $38 for adults, $25 children and $120 for a family (up to three children) and are available at: lpmliveshow.com.au
