Starting their preseason preparations on Tuesday, the club invites all interested prospective men’s and women’s players above the age of 15 to come down and have a run around.
They will meet at McLean Beach at 6.30pm, with the session to include a run along the river walk track, followed by some beach soccer.
The training sessions in preparation for next year will continue each Tuesday.
The January 28 session will also be held at McLean Beach, and follow the same format as next week.
The next two sessions will be held at Rotary Park, the traditional home of the club.
These sessions on January 30, and February 5, will see more game specific training in the lead-up to the season opener the weekend following.

Christmas is over
The Christmas spirit lasts for as long as you keep your Christmas tree and decorations up.
It may be continuing in your home, but Christmas in Deniliquin is now officially over with the dismantling of the town decorations this week.
The giant tree on the corner of Edwardes and Cressy Sts came down mid week.
Edward River Council’s works crew made short work of it, starting from early in the morning.
Decorations which has adorned light posts were also removed.
It seems to take forever for Christmas to arrive, but it’s over and done with so quickly.
Why leave town?
What is still lingering in the community after Christmas is a good number of Deniliquin Business Chamber’s ‘Why Leave Town’ gift cards.
As the perfect gift, we know quite a few of them were purchased before Christmas - although, they’re good as gifts any time of the year.
The gift cards are able to be used at more than 50 stores locally, including those in the fashion, food, entertainment and homeware spaces.
The ‘Why Leave Town’ gift cards are sold at and can be purchased from Wired Entertainment, Deniliquin Travel Centre, edith elsie and the Visitor Information Centre.
The gift cards are now also ApplePay compatible on devices like your iPhone or Apple watch.
Heelers committee meeting
The Deniliquin Blue Heelers Rugby League Club will be looking toward this weekend with great anticipation.
The club will be gathering for their committee meeting on Sunday, from 1pm.
As well as the regular minutes of the committee meeting, the club will be hosting Proten Cup representatives, the league the Heelers have been accepted to.
This should give the local club and its committee a clear idea of what needs to be done to ensure their survival.
The club has been training on a Wednesday for the last couple of weeks, gauging player numbers and being able to get some rugby-specific drills done, the club being training at 6.30pm.
