Bald Archy arriving soon

The 2023 exhibition consists of 22 portraits, including this years winning piece, Marty Steel’s ‘Never a dull moment’.

The winning portrait portrays a caricature of Bald Archy founder Peter Batey riding on the back of a cockatoo and chief judge of the Bald Archy competition, Maude.

This year’s tour of the exhibition started in February, and has two more stops in Brewarrina and Grenfell before arriving in Deniliquin.

From August 4 to September 3, the 22 artworks will be on display at the Peppin Heritage Centre, located at 295 George St, Deniliquin.
