The Kyabram Town Hall is set to exhibit some work from the Splinter Contemporary artists’ new exhibition, ‘‘A is for Animal’’, until May 6.

The exhibition is one of four exhibitions Kyabram Town Hall is showcasing at the gallery with the northern plains basket makers’ “Basketry and Beyond”, Leslie Edwards’ “Textile art-colour and Form” and the young artists of Kyabram’s “Paintings and Textiles”.
The splinter group is based in the Goulburn Valley and comprises artists working in various mediums, whether it is clay, paint, photography or mixed media.

“We meet monthly to discuss our artistic endeavours and plan exhibitions,” publicity officer Christine Hartly said.
“We aim to participate in community activities such as the Shepparton Arts Festival.”
The Splinter group exhibits four exhibitions annually at Kyabram Town Hall and appreciates its ongoing support.
