Farmer Darryl and his herd of furry and feathered friends will be back at this year’s Seymour Alternative Farming Expo.
Farmer Darryl’s Mobile Animal Farm is a big hit every year and will once again give expo visitors the chance to get up close and personal with a farmyard full of animals and birds.
Sheep, calves, goats, roosters, hens, lambs, baby rabbits and Princess the piglet are all a part of the interactive display, where children are invited to pat, brush and feed the friendly animals.
Darryl Sheridan has been running the mobile farm for 22 years and has gradually built up a collection of creatures to the point they are now able to bring along mothers and their babies.
He said it was a fun experience for young and old.
"I'm always so excited to come along for the expo," Darryl said.
"Everyone has a different favourite animal.
"It's just the best to get everyone along and have them spend some time and enjoy the animals."
Farmer Darryl’s Mobile Animal Farm will both entertain and educate for the three days of the expo, with Story Time also running at 3pm every day.
