Man charged with Canberra Hospital murder

An ACT police spokesman said the incident led to the death of a 38-year-old male patient.

Police then charged the 18-year-old Canberra man, who was also a patient, and was taken to the ACT watch house.

He will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court charged with murder on Monday.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.

Police are expected to provide further information about the incident later on Sunday afternoon.
