Euroa Health hopes to buy a new Efficia monitor to allow staff to monitor patients and more efficiently share vital patient information with Ambulance Victoria.
A patient treatment bed is also on the wish list to replace an outdated stainless steel theatre bed that is no longer fit for purpose.
Euroa Health chief executive officer Cherree Hunter said new equipment would help the facility continue to provide best-practice care for the community.
“We are thrilled to be returning radiology to Euroa for the community to access, but our resources are somewhat limited for the additional funds required for the equipment that will be needed to support the patients that we will now be seeing more of at Euroa Health,” she said.
Joe Allen from Elders Euroa said the sale was a great opportunity to support the organisation.
"Even for producers not participating in the sale, we welcome donations ... just speak to your respective agent on how to do so,“ he said.
The fundraiser is open to all, with all donations to Euroa Health before the end of the 2021-22 financial year tax deductible.
Information brochures are available at Rodwells, Elders and Nutrien Euroa with an online campaign at https://www.mycause.com.au/page/282585/farming-community-fundraiser-2022 or through the links on the Euroa Health Facebook and Instagram pages.
