The sale was due to be held at Shepparton Regional Saleyards but because of the COVID-19 situation they made the decision to move it, stud owner Bill Sammon said.
He said for the first time they would use the online service AuctionsPlus.
“This will allow buyers old or new the option to participate from home or at the auction,” Mr Sammon said.
He said in his area, north of Benalla, feed was starting to take off and stock were improving.
“Sucker lambs are a bit behind this year due to the cold and wet weather, but will improve quickly with the warmer weather.
“Likewise, the rams, which were slow to progress in the winter, are now looking very well.”
Mr Sammon said free delivery was available to all buyers.

The sale will be held from 12.30pm on Friday, September 17, at 977 Devenish-Wangaratta Rd, Thoona.
