Michael Mulcahy is following in his father Laurie’s footsteps.
Laurie Mulcahy established a partnership in Mulcahy and Hunt in 1991.
Work has taken Michael into a number of yards along the eastern states, but mostly working for other companies.
When 2022 came around he decided it was time to strike out on his own and now has his own agents and staff working in Shepparton and Echuca.
“I think it’s important for people to have the option of working through a locally owned and operated business,” Michael said.
Michael said his father had been a strong influence on his career choice and the philosophy behind the business.
“It’s about focusing on your clients. I think if you can succeed in meeting clients’ expectations, the business will grow,” he said.
Michael has employed Peter Stevenson, working with him at Shepparton, and Bryan Robinson based in Echuca, as well as a young starter in Lachy Hughes.
