Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rain and northwesterly winds are expected to develop later tonight (August 7), which could lead to a risk of loss of lambs and sheep.
The conditions will first hit the the Wimmera and then extend to remaining districts during Thursday, with conditions deteriorating further from the west late Thursday afternoon and evening.
Areas likely to be affected include the Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central, North East, South West, Central and West and South Gippsland forecast districts and parts of the Mallee and East Gippsland forecast districts.
