You are part of a group of students who have had experiences unlike any other and have proven you can thrive no matter what the circumstances.
Your preparation for these vital years is a testament to your resilience and determination and means you are in the best possible position for your next journey.
I am so proud of each and every one of you.
For those about to sit exams, I would like to say good luck, but I know that you will have done everything possible to be ready for this moment.
For those who have taken up a VCE Vocational Major pathway, the skills you’ve honed and the experience you’ve gained in workshops, kitchens, classrooms and everywhere else will hold you in good stead as you enter the workforce or further training.
My enormous thanks to the many parents, carers, and school staff who have guided and continue to guide and encourage each and every one of you to do your best.
These have been unprecedented times for all of us, and your support has been integral to our students’ success.
So, whether you’re heading to high school, to further study, into the workforce, or perhaps even taking a gap year, you’ve earned it.
Education is a wonderful journey, and I hope you never stop learning.
Look out, world, the Class of 2024 is coming.
