City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali was a guest of honour, speaking about the club’s history and its essential role in the community.
Ninety-seven-year-old Yvonne Austin, a life member of the club since 2005 and a veteran of many years of committee service, also attended the event.
The celebrations also saw the inauguration of a new life member, Sylvia Campbell, who has served the club as president for 15 terms.
Ms Campbell has lived and breathed the club for many years and continues to be a hard worker and supporter of its endeavours.
The anniversary concert was a members-only event and the attendance was a good representation of the current membership, which recently passed the 100 mark.
