Businesses and consumers alike have been feeling the pinch.
But if you ask Greater Shepparton City Council’s economic development department, all signs point to optimism.
At the second Visitor Economy Industry Luncheon, held on Monday, August 19, at the Museum of Vehicle Evolution in Kialla, the department provided an update on intensified efforts to boost local tourism and economic growth.
Among the announcements was the unveiling of Destination Goulburn Valley’s events calendar for 2024/25, featuring major attractions such as the St George’s Rd Food Festival, Carols by Candlelight and the Shepparton Gift.
The luncheon also served as a vital networking platform for local businesses and community members.
Following the updates, City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali and fellow councillors encouraged attendees to explore MOVE, further showcasing the region’s premier attractions.
