“From cleaning to gardening to general yard maintenance, wherever I was needed pretty much.”
However, as the company fleet grew so did the need for company mechanic, Jimmy Hooper, to have some assistance in the workshop. So, Jason was offered an apprenticeship as a mechanic.

“I am learning heaps already and the apprenticeship has just started,” Jason said.

Making sure all vehicles are in compliance with safety regulations is a must at Goodfellows, which is comforting to know when you’re hiring a vehicle that you may have never driven before.
Having an on-site mechanic and apprentice mechanic is a beneficial aspect to the Goodfellows business, especially with such a large fleet across the region.
