New owners, Declan Patten and Bradley Cullen, have instituted some changes to the program but are also looking forward to a classic, quality, dairy show, running from Monday to Thursday at Tatura Park.
Activities kicked off on Sunday with the Holstein Australia Victoria Youth Challenge Trials and VASA State Junior Judging Final, while the major junior events got under way on Monday.
On Tuesday the focus will turn to the breeds with the national Ayrshire, Guernsey, Illawarra and Brown Swiss shows, while Wednesday will be devoted to Jerseys.
The major auction will be held on Wednesday night and on Thursday Holsteins will enter the ring for a day of judging followed by the selection of the interbreed grand champion.
