Aitchison’s low-maintenance drills deliver uniform plant emergence with optimum yields and do so at lower costs.
With the AirPro, farmers and contractors have access to a purpose-built direct drill, ideal for rejuvenating old pastures or handling any arable seeding job easily.
The AirPro 8000 zero tillage air seeder builds on the family-owned company’s legacy of soil preservation.
Aitchison seed drills are synonymous with building soil organic matter to create an optimal environment for seed germination.
Available in two models, the AirPro 8132E (sowing width 4.8 metres) and AirPro 8140E (sowing width six metres), the series features a 14“ disc coulter kit up front, with a rear rubber roller to close the seed slot and control seeding depth.
Consider, also, the electric drive, superior residual matter clearance, hydraulic folding for transporting, seed, fertiliser, double coil tine system and optional third box.
The 4.8m Airpro 8132E uses the legendary Aitchison tungsten-tipped inverted “T” boot, mounted on the same coil spring as the renowned Seedmatic seed drill.
The disc coulter undercarriage — standard on all AirPro machines — cuts through residual plant matter ahead of the “T” boot, while the floating three-piece chassis design promotes contour-following abilities simply unmatched by any other large drill on the market.
The six-metre AirPro pneumatic seeder 8140E’s direct drill is fitted with a front mounted coulter bar equipped with 350mm disc coulters, an electric drive rate controller, and features a rear tyre packer roller for paddock consolidation.
With convenience and safety in mind, the 8140E hydraulically folds up to three metres for a narrow road transport width.
It runs two independent fans for varying fan volumes to match seed/fertiliser rates and varying product densities.
Both models feature transport lighting as standard, while the seed hopper holds 1000 litres with a fertiliser capacity of 1500 litres.
Both models also feature electronic seed metering for easy calibration.
Seed and fertiliser rates can be independently set to handle large jobs with ease.
There is a touch-screen equipped as standard which controls rate, shut-off and data storage.
Data, such as job, paddock name and sowing information, can be stored and then transferred via the USB port.
The Aitchison Seedmatic range’s track record speaks for itself.
Just as Aitchison invests in R&D, farmers and contractors invest in Aitchison, secure in the knowledge that their machine will generate ROI by creating the perfect germination environment.
