The chosen subject has been the topic of rumours around the town, but the organisers want to keep a lid on it until the the artwork is revealed under the hand of artist Jimmy Dvate, starting on November 15.
The town already boasts a squirrel glider and azure kingfisher on GrainCorp silos in the centre of town, which were finished in 2018.
Rochester Business Network representative Kate Taylor said it was a must to see Dvate in action.
“Watching silos get painted is something to be seen,” she said.
GrainCorp is a major supporter of this initiative.
This Murray-Darling Basin Economic Development Program project received funding from the Federal Government. The local community has raised the remainder of the funds.
